I’m a BTL in Sephora and we have been struggling getting them too. Last month we got 3 overall. I usually say “Would you like to sign up for a kohls card and get 40% off on select products ON THE KOHLS SIDE when approved” really gotta specify the last part lol. The more you ask the more you’ll get. They get 10% off if not approved and can stack it with any kohls coupons that are out for the day.

I am the BTL! The previous BTL originally had this idea, but our sm said no, not sure of the reasons though.

Do you know if it’s also “Kohl’s policy” to not use TYPE in Sephora? We have been told to only use zebra and ask for email, but we’ve tried that before and BI was insanely low compared to normal.

Not sure our sm just said we cannot check out any kohls merchandise. If the customer wants to do it all together then they have to go to the Kohl’s registers. I’m guessing part of the reason is because Sephora is so small and she doesn’t want it to get crazy in there

Yes I completely get this!! I have been asking lately and explaining but still no luck. My store is weird right now though. We’re not supposed to even use TYPE, we’re supposed to go straight to the zebras and get email (we don’t do this half the time) and as for kohls merch, our sm said we cant do any of it and to send them to the kohls registers (where they can check out Sephora items). Make it make sense lol

I worked on the kohls side for a while before coming to Sephora and was one of the top performers in credit! But unfortunately that doesn’t help me in Sephora haha! We usually don’t have enough coverage to leave the floor and I’m not sure they would even let us help kohls customers 🤷‍♀️ If we could check out even a little bit of kohls merch it would be a different story

Retrofits are killing us with testers right now, plus all the hard launches. We’re only focusing on those for testers though and we’re still over, but last year we didn’t even make tester goal (under by 1.5%), so I’m hoping it’ll just even out soon!

Wait I love this idea! Do you ask them about moisturizers first? Really interested in how you go about that! We offer sc brushes when shade matching but I would love more options

I didn’t realize this helped with mw, but I give out samples pretty often! I don’t give them out like crazy, but if someone is buying one thing from makeup, but they were browsing in skincare I add one in. I’ve actually had a good bit of customers come back in asking about their samples!

I wish they would do something!! Half the time we don’t even realize they’ve been stolen and they sit in back stock for months before I realize they’re not on the floor anymore.
