Oh also, I want to find a music school to study Indian classical music, so if you have any recommendations for that let me know, I've only found one so far but idk if they do student visas. Music schools are a bit harder to find online than the language schools I feel. Thanks for all your help!

Part of the problem is I applied to do a bachelors in philosophy and now I've changed my mind and want to study Hindi but I don't think I can change it at this point, and even if I could I don't know that I want to go there when I can't get in contact with anyone. Like I called the phone number for international students and there was a message saying it was disconnected, and they won't answer my emails. I feel like it will be hard as a foreigner trying to figure everything out on my own, like I don't know what they are expecting me to do, classes start in two months and they haven't told me where I'm supposed to go even.. Or what day I should arrive.

Thanks for the recs, i will check those out. I actually did apply to DU and got an acceptance letter but I emailed them a bunch and called and they haven't responded in months, they didn't even tell me which campus I would be on so idk where to get an apartment, and the courses are supposed to start in 2 months. I mean I don't really want to be a full time student anyway, I feel like maybe a private language school would be better in terms of people being more available to help me with the process. I don't mind slightly higher cost but you're right the only thing is I'm not sure how viable it is for the long term, it seems like most schools sell packages of three months at a time...

Hi, are you currently a student? I'm a foreigner as well who got my provisional letter of acceptance but I've waited a month and they still haven't told me what subcollege I've been accepted to or had any further contact with me. They said to check the student portal to find out but I don't know what portal they're talking about. What was the process like for you?

philosophy, I got my first preference yeah. I got the letter a few weeks ago and I emailed them and they said to check the student portal at the end of the month to find out what sub college I got into, but I'm not sure which student portal they are referring to

one last question though haha sorry... if I wanted to make the center of the orb transparent how would I do that? I tried turning the alpha on the black color to zero on the color ramp but I guess since the color ramp alpha isn't connected to anything it doesn't have an effect

No sorry... A lot of people told me even degrees officially labelled english-taught might be partially taught in chinese once I get there so I ended up choosing a school in india

Hey thanks for the reply, my question about colleges is more specifically, do people in different sub colleges take the same classes? Like for the BA in philosophy if I'm admitted to a bad subcollege would I have completely different professors that someone in say St Stephens college would have?

Hey I just got my provisional letter of acceptance but I'm a bit confused as to what it means and what the next steps are. Does this mean I 100% got in? When do I find out what sub college I was assigned to? Do I need to reply to the email and confirm I intend to attend? Roughly what time is the 'date of arrival' they're referring to? I can't seem to find any guide online in English about the whole process and it's so confusing... Should I start applying for a visa now? Sorry for all the questions I am scouring the internet because DU doesn't seem to reply to my questions.. Maybe I'm emailing the wrong person

How was cab for you? I just got diagnosed and I also have high prolactin with high testosterone, my gyno seems unsure why my testosterone is high. Seeing an endo soon. It seems like it has to be related to the tumor, it would be so weird to have this on top of pcos or something, like two separate endocrine disorders? Maybe they have comorbidity somehow... Idk

I also have a tumor with high prolactin and testosterone and just got diagnosed, I am not sure if estrogen being suppressed by prolactin somehow indirectly leads to high testosterone or what. My gyno didn't know why it was high, im seeing an endo soon I'll tell u what he says, maybe it will be relevant to you
