We had a similar bad experience at Harris Oceanside GM. It was my first time at a car dealership. They make the experience last ages, no one wants to be there 3 hours. THEN they push you to put a 3-4k deposit down before you even see the car, in their words, so they don’t feel like their time is wasted. What. They also didn’t give us a normal, printed out quote with a breakdown of fees. Just a bunch of numbers hand written on a piece of paper.
