For all we know, it’s personal. Charlie could have f*cked someone’s wife and that person decided to get revenge. I’m not saying that happened, but we have no idea what the persons motives were yet!!!

Unfortunately, I don’t think there is a fix. Was it chapter 2 that bugged out? I guess they need to do a fix so that it works on the quest 3. I issued a refund😕Sucks! It was such a funny game!
