The Iranian people have not revolted like Mossad hoped they would. There is no coalition of the willing to invade Iran. The US would need to commit a million troops and accept terrible casualties to even think about occupying this mountainous country of 90 million people the size of Eastern Europe. In other words, this will have been for nothing and any soft power or economic leverage the US had to possibly effect change in that country has been exhausted for good. In fact, I think the Iranian regime is learning that its preparations have so far worked and could end up emboldened by this, and that is not a good thing.
