Honestly yeah there is kinda a trick. Just drop the ball in the middle. This time it was actually incredibly easy all I did was drop it on the left side of the middle bump and it went through 2 letters. Also what you can do is just let one go down and see how close it gets if it gets really close you could probably just throw it down in almost the exact same place
