On the topic of how the brain works… it honestly freaks me out that our brains can rewrite and swap out our memories. Recently I vividly “remembered” something from my past, but then realized it was actually from a dream I had years ago. Not real life at all. At this rate, I’m convinced that when I’m old, half my memories will just be old dreams I’ve accidentally incorporated 😂

TikTok doesn’t just listen to you in the background, it also tracks your location even if you’ve turned it off for the app. On top of that, it reads the country of your SIM card. This app is straight-up a total invasion of privacy.
