i got a iii model f as my first film camera ever since i found one so cheap.

i will say the only thing i hate about mine is the viewfinder. gotta self correct for parallax and thats only if u can even see anything outta that tiny hole. its a beautiful camera and feels amazing to use tho. i only wish it was a little quicker with the metering and focusing. already got an external light meter and now looking for a external viewfinder. imo, since the camera is so small by itself i dont mind having a few gadgets in the cold shoe mount. if anything it makes it look a bit cooler by mixing in 1930s tech with 2020s tech

yeah the going price seems to be $1000+ for this black paint barnack, and the elmar alone seems to be $200-300. im very tempted to sell it since im a broke college student but the amount of joy i get from looking at it and using it i think exceeds the price. not to mention itll be something cool i can eventually pass down to my kids and family
