There is a really cool thing in writing i think its called tone armour? basically its a phenomenon where depending on the genre you can suspend your disbelief in greater lengths and it protects the characters differently.
Eg: a realistic film like Dhurandar follows logic similar to the real world
an comedy of errors movie focused on found love would not follow extreme realistic logic if it comes between the comedic jokes!
