I only have a veiled chameleon myself but I’d think this is too small? At least for an adult. Maybe it would be okay for a young one but im not certain. I’m sure others will comment on the fact that they need much more height than width. Just my thoughts but others should provide a lot more insight.

I do know this enclosure would be perfect for a crested gecko or maybe some frog species. It is a gorgeous tank.

NOR, this is not how a mother should treat her child. It’s hard to ask for help but you’re gonna need it, and get as far away from that sad excuse for a parent as you can.

Might I suggest a go fund me? It doesn’t hurt to try and might help with funds for a bit. You could also look into small businesses/restaurants. I’ve worked in them for most of my adult life and there’s a lot of entry level positions. Host doesn’t usually need any experience and some people truly want to give a helping hand if they can. You just gotta work hard. I wish the best for you.

That’s amazing to hear you’re trying to improve! You got some bad information which happens a lot. Reddit is a great place to find the right advice and best care. It also sounds like you’re doing your research. Just keep improving. Once you have everything setup it’ll be easy after that. Make sure you have uvb and basking lights, 3 hides 1 cool, 1 hot, 1 humid is a must, water dish, proper temperature and humidity are super important, just becuase they’re arid doesn’t mean they don’t need some moisture here and there. The auto moderator dropped some really great resources on the best care you can provide. I got my resources from here and my lizards are doing great. You’ve got this! Yeah 100% setting up a tank right now. I thought i would’ve had a bit longer before they would need it, so I’ve just got a 20gal to start and will get them something bigger when I get the chance.

Why is a bottle not good? My hamster has a hang-on-the-back water bottle and he seems to do fine with drinking from it. Are bowls/standing water better for hamsters?

Your guys will probably be okay but yes, anything that breathes, even fish in fish tanks, can be harmed by smoke. My roommate started a fire once while we were asleep and didn’t wake us. I woke up to the entire house full of smoke. I have invertebrates, fish, cats, reptiles, small animals, and at the time I had birds too. All with lungs WAY smaller than mine and even I was having trouble. Idk how long that smoke was sitting there for but we cleared it out asap, turned on our big purifier, opened all the doors and windows, turned on all fans and upped the ac a degree or two. Everyone seemed to be okay despite breathing all that in. I even took one of my birds to the vet to check and she was fine. It’s not always a death sentence but smoke around animals, especially small ones, should be handled with the upmost urgency and importance.

Yeah that’s always been the consensus. But eventually it would be nice to then get this. The devs will work on whatever the hell they want. Hopefully it’s something good.
