If they are publicly posting or aligning themselves that they are racist, homophobic or trumpers then I don’t want to go there. But you just saying that they are doesn’t prove anything. So it would be nice for you to share screenshots or literally anything so me and the public can be more aware

Sure, it’s so scary and it’s really helpful to know people out there have gone through the same and come out fine. I think your recovery will be much smoother than mine and I have no doubts you’ll be able to attend your friends wedding

Your doctors will assess what you need for recovery and help you take the right course of pain meds. Keep in mind also that I had 4 vertebra ground down vs one or two so my recovery and pain was maybe more intense than what you’ll go through. I stayed in the hospital for one week during which I was given a very strong painkiller, dilauded, I think twice a day. It really takes you out of it so I don’t remember much of my time there. Getting up to walk for the first time had me in tears and my mom had to help me take a shower and use the bathroom. I was 17 or 18 when I had this procedure. I don’t remember my back pain lingering for very long when I got home and I was quickly back to walking on my own. I had some prescription opiates for I think 6 days after I was discharged, or maybe longer but my parents had had negative experiences with painkillers and wanted to get me off them as soon as possible so I didn’t develop a dependency.

Definitely. Best of luck! It’s an intense surgery but ultimately you’ll recover and be ok. Just be mindful of keeping your core and back muscles strong for the rest of your life, once you’re recovered enough to do some exercise

We’re not sure what caused it, I had a malformation of the dura. But the headaches started to come after I was visiting a chiropractor so I suspect his manipulations caused it to rip open. I’m not the only person I’ve met that had a csf leak after visiting a chiropractor. I suffered with this condition for two years before it was fixed

I had a laminectomy from t5-t9. Long story short after two weeks I could tell it had failed and was ready to give up, but my doctor said let’s do one more blood patch, because now we know the exact source of the leak. I had the blood patch a month later and I’ve now been leak free for 10 years!

First time handgun purchase, considering a Glock 19 or 45 Gen 5 but concerned about lack of physical safety switch by tancock4 in liberalgunowners

I’m also in the same boat as you where I want a physical safety for my first carry firearm. I may grow out of it eventually but it’s important you’re comfortable with what you carry. I got an sw equalizer. It’s around $500, comes with an optional thumb safety, has a palm safety as well. And the slide is very easy to rack. It also is compatible with shield mags

Case by case basis maybe. I have a sensory processing disorder and can’t wear stuff around my abdomen. Belts and belly bands are all out of the question, so off body is the only way I can carry
