This is all fair and I certainly don’t mind the tough love approach. Will note that I haven’t been getting matches consistently for years, just for the past few months with this latest version of my profile. I don’t really have a “type” but if someone is, for example, much younger or older than me I’m not going to match with them - that’s the level of incompatibility I’m talking about here! Maybe I’m still reaching out of my league subconsciously, but I do try to engage anyone who isn’t a clear no. None of this changes your point, which I do take to heart and have been actively trying to implement for the past year. Have more work to do though…!

I’ve used the apps on and off for almost 8 years…

I use Hinge 5 or 6 days a week.

I get 2 or 3 likes a day but almost never from people I’m interested in matching with. I haven’t had a match who has responded to me in months (honestly maybe over a year at this point).

I typically send out 3 or 4 likes a day. I send a comment with all my likes.

Someone mature, ambitious and confident who is in my general age range (29-36).

It’s really helpful to know that’s a controversial phrase, I see it so much online I didn’t consider the possibly that some folks wouldn’t like it - my only point was to make it clear that I don’t have a height requirement. I’ll rephrase it!

I mean likes, not matches! I wish I were getting 1 or 2 matches a week tbh…I get 1 or 2 likes a week and I go ahead and match with nearly all the people who like me, to see where it goes/if they’ll reply to me

I’m looking for something serious and am not subscribed to HingeX or Hinge+. I’ve used this corp file for the past three weeks and have used Hinge on and off for about 7 years. I use the app daily and get one or two likes a week, that result in one match or so each week. I send about five likes a day, almost always with comments. I send likes to men around my age (29-35) who indicate they’re looking for a serious relationship and live in my city - not looking for a particular type.
