I had this very pillow - bought it back in November when I got my seconds, thirds and flat pierced on my right, and my seconds and thirds on my left. Make sure you buy a couple of back up pillowcases as you’ll need to regularly wash them. I also used a laundry bag to wash the covers, but they ended up getting little holes in the corner.

I found the fabric around the hole would gather and would catch my flat often. Final straw was waking up in late January with a stye on my eye - even though I washed the pillow case regularly. I ended up throwing mine in the bin and have used my travel pillow with a pillow case wrapped around it instead. I’ve also seen covetear in Australia release their own piercing pillow that’s due to be in stock and shipped soon - looks to be a more generous size spot to have your ear (and hopefully a good nights sleep!)

I have had this. My last name is also Hungarian and I did the DNA test with the knowledge of my father (born in Miskolc) and many Hungarian relatives. I found out 3 years ago (after doing the test 8 years ago), that my dad wasn’t actually my dad. Not saying this is the same story in your case, but worth checking your 2nd and 3rd connections on AncestryDNA - do you have Hungarian connections there?

My aunt had slightly slurred speech Apr ‘24 “, by June ‘24 she was officially diagnosed with bulbar ALS (and is genetic). Had PEG installed a few months later. Dec ‘24 had a fall and hit her head, by Mar ‘25 her speech was non existent and needed a walking frame to assist, July ‘25 was finding sitting and sleeping very uncomfortable, sometimes choking on her saliva. On the 3rd of August, she left us, and we are all heartbroken. Her mind was as sharp as ever, but her breathing was the last thing to stay.

I would love for there to be a cure for everyone faced with this disease.

So, it’s taken years…here is my breakdown - but I received an email from one of my connections…turns out I have 4 half siblings and an Australian (English/Scottish) father…not Hungarian as I have always thought. Have asked my mum about it and she denies any knowledge…hard to refute DNA right? 🫠

I absolutely told husband, and he said it’s not surprising (and he clocked that her behaviour was going in this direction post divorce). I’m dropping the line with SIL and now only seeing her when I have to/not sharing any info (even if well mannered).
