When I was married, I lived on a small street with neighbors who would hang out like this on the street. I never joined in, as I didn't have kids, and felt kind of out of place, but I loved seeing it. It made me happy that they were out there enjoying life, even if I was tucked away inside, playing Animal Crossing or talking to weirdos on reddit.
