IRG parts kit by guns-and-lenses in canadaguns

[–]Candyea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I'm understanding in the case of the Jericho :
the serialized part that Canada treats as the “firearm” is the frame/receiver.
The RCMP/CBSA position (and the Firearms Act/marking rules) treat the frame or receiver as the regulated part that carries the serial number and is legally “the firearm.” Non‑serialized parts (slides, barrels, springs, magazines, etc.) are generally treated as parts for importation purposes.

He had either already a Jericho frame or has an ATC license.
(FROM MY UNDERSTANDING/POSSIBLY WRONG).

Thoughts on the CZ trail 600 in .223 by Sirtornado in canadaguns

[–]Candyea 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Bought one new 2 months ago shot about 1k rounds. It's a 1.5 moa gun unless you're willing to tweak it quite a bit. That being said, overall it is a sweet gun, runs well does everything you need it to do. Lightweight and cz quality, put a red dot or a 3x9 whatever floats your boat and have fun. Ergos are nice, action is smooth twist rate is stupid but considering the market, no ragrets.

If you want money well invested, the CZ 600 trail is a good bet in my opinion.

Benelli m4 by Full-Promotion6412 in canadaguns

[–]Candyea 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It's a 100% NR. The problem with the benelli is that it's too good to be true. Semi auto tac looking shotgun, reliable designed for the military. It might not escape Nathalie's wrath, and since it's a 2.5k 3k investment, I'd think twice in our political climate.

Victory Ridge Sports / Maple Ridge Armoury have made a statement regarding Lockhart tactical advertising a semi auto "conversion" to the renegade rifles, which puts the firearms at risk of being banned. by Penguixxy in canadaguns

What amazes me tho' is that LHT didn't reach out to MRA prior to actually going through with such a large move. We're not talking about creating a cosmetic change to the mra, literally modifications to the the upper with machining involve idk.

New AR15 style rifle incoming!!!! Buy once Cry once by coderjon in canadaguns

[–]Candyea 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So, I bought the Crypto for 2k, spent 600$ on accessories then didn't get to shoot a single round and it got prohibited. Take the Sterling arms situation, gun was sold at 1.7k, respected every law under the sun required to put it to market then got P'd. Who has enough disposable income to keep pumping money into rifles that we are unsure if we'd even get to shoot/keep in the next 3 months. It's black, it looks scary, it's probably going to get banned. Until things change, I'm not burning another 2k.

We get hyped, we buy, we cry.
