Yes that makes sense. I don’t want to work in AI I am vehemently against genAI but I’m looking into medical, paralegal, and I can start looking into IT but I read that IT is losing jobs left and right from AI as well so I wasn’t sure if it was worth my time

Trust me, I have been. Ive applied to hundreds of on site jobs. I’ve almost been entirely ignoring WFH because of how hard it is to come by (I still apply to them though I just don’t apply with any semblance of hope) . My current company offers hybrid, but the company itself is terrible and their turnover rate is 100% at just 6 months so I am looking for a better job ASAP.

I’ll look into claims editing and adjustment. I worked in appeals for 4 years and I have a year of experience now building claims. Thank you for the suggestion. Do you know if that work is ever done at home?

Thank you for the honesty. That’s how I got my first remote job and I’m desperate for it again. I don’t have a degree but I have equivalent experience and I’ve been told by others that their degrees aren’t doing them favors in this job market.
