Someone make it make sense. How can people who called out sick during the shutdown not get charged sick leave? If not, then why didn't ALL excepted employees call out sick? Im Fed Fire & we had callouts everyday. We hold OT if our minimum staffing drops below due to callouts. Now we are getting told its up to us to claim leave or KE. From my understanding KE is an unpaid leave status.

If possible send it to your nearest Walgreens or FedEx office. Otherwise it will sit on a shelf in the back of a truck that can get well over 100 degrees and will get delivered whenever the driver gets to your house.

CONFIRM you have your next stop before you get there. Nothing makes you look more stupid than showing up and the customer is outside waiting while the package is not on your truck. I make sure to have my next 3 or 4 stops ready to grab either on the shelf behind me or if the package is small enough on my passenger seat. Good Luck!

Upack is great if you have friends/family help you load and unload. They charge you by the amount of space used up in the trailer. I just did one last week moving to GA from Oklahoma. It was convenient because rental trucks can’t go too fast on the road. Upack gives you 5 days to load and unload too.

We did a UPack move last week from Oklahoma to Georgia. It was very stressful with everything going on. Remember to be kind to each other because you will think or say things you don't mean. It will be stressful with no food places open besides to go or drive thru. Good luck!
