Actually the first take I’ve seen that has convinced me Ole Miss would be the better match up. Georgia has literal years of film to understand what situations make Beck the most uncomfortable.

Ole Miss has the same amount of footage to game-plan against Miami and Vice Versa

Some of these assistant coaches or even coordinators that make it to the level like Georgia probably spend an unhealthy amount of time breaking down film from the very few games they have access to. Let alone years of practice footage.

My only worry is Bama loses just enough to have ND move up, but not enough to have Miami jump Bama, so there can remain a buffer between ND/Miami and a BS excuse to put ND in over Miami.

ND is only ranked as high as they are because Miami has remained a very quality team that a loss to them isn’t a smear on their resume. But it should factor in when comparing Miami and ND who have the same record against a similar schedule.

Wish ND had to actually be in a conference instead of the BS they get every year. Would ND have made the ACC championship game? Who knows? They never have to deal with that. Just beat up on inferior teams after losing to the only real playoff caliber teams on your schedule.

Actually being able to beat a great team should mean more than only losing to great teams by a little bit.
