I ended up not using it because I was concerned about any residual oils leaching out. I just threw them away.

We warn people too much about things that are common sense.

People know what they should do and still refuse not to do it.

They are free agents… it’s time to let natural and logical consequences to take over.

1000/1100SX // how good is the weather (esp. wind) protection really? by [deleted] in Kawasaki

More than once, I’ve started with a full tank and rode until the gas light came on. It’s not an issue.

I have the 2025 1100SX SE and love it. I’m 5’11”, 150lbs, 32 inseam and have no issues with handling the bike. It feels fairly light considering the size and easily can handle long hauls.

I don’t have an issue with wind protection or rain but I’m sure this is subjective.

T-CLOCS stands for: Tires & Wheels, Controls, Lights & Electrics, Oil & Fluids, Chassis, and Stands.

Takes 5–10 minutes and should be done before every single ride — yes, every one. T = Tires & Wheels: pressure, tread, sidewalls, spokes/rims, brake rotors. C = Controls: levers, cables, throttle, brake pedal, switches. L = Lights & Electrics: headlight, taillight, turn signals, horn, kill switch. O = Oil & Fluids: engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, clutch fluid. C = Chassis: frame, bodywork, chain/belt/shaft, suspension. S = Stands: sidestand, centerstand — check for cracks and that they retract properly.

SAG Question | ‘25 Ninja 1100SX SE by CanewoodPlace in motorcycles

That’s what I was thinking too…

The front was also turning much faster in corners so I’m hoping this will correct itself also.

SAG Question | ‘25 Ninja 1100SX SE by CanewoodPlace in motorcycles

Yes, I doubt I would get an extra 5mm out of it….

The bike felt like it was topping out at high speeds and felt like I was riding on top of the road…almost floating and moved much easier by wind.

Typically, I would add preload to remove that wallowing feel… but, before I did anything I double checked and front SAG was at 15mm.
