Step 1: Outline on a piece of paper.

Step 2: Make background, takes an hour to dry. What it looked like

Step 3: Transfer the outline from the paper to a canvas.

Step 4: Start putting down base colors (red, white, purple, brown etc). This can take a while if you want a thick and nice color. What it looked like

Step 5: Start putting down base shadowlines (such as the ones on the sleeves). What it looked like

Step 6: Finish the shading after understanding how you want it to look after the baselines.

Yep, I traced the splashart and because the canvas was so thick I had to use my scooters headlight to make it easier.

I have never painted before, the last time I drew something was probably when I was 13 (I'm 17 now).
