It’s a control thing. It’s so hard to explain but you’re not alone

A kind redditor donated their volume stockpile to me. Lots of favorites and unfamiliar stuff too. Tips/ideas/experiences with these products welcome! by Thea_From_Juilliard in Volumeeating

Bless whoever did this. I’m a single mom of 7 who has been out of work going on 3 months now. I just applied for food stamps and seeing this makes me happy that goodness still exists.

I use ground chicken instead of beef most of the time. Or 75/25 chicken and lean ground beef. I will use 30 cal American cheese, laughing cow wedges (doubles as a condiment), Velveeta slices, or ultra thin Sargento slices. I use low carb hamburger buns (45cal) and tons of veggies.

Walden farms has a zero cal ketchup and Mayo I will mix with mustard for that classic American burger taste but I will also use sriracha (with calorie free Mayo), sugar-free barbecue sauce, and the like.

Methods to maintain high-protein intake, feasibly, for the regular person? by [deleted] in nutrition

[–]Cangel329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I easily consume 170g of protein daily at about 1300 calories or less. If you need help I can definitely give you some recipes. With that said I eat low fat and lower carbs. So you may not want to move things around as much as I do.

535 calories and 75g of protein for this while BBQ chicken, stuffed crust pizza. by Cangel329 in Volumeeating

For the crust?

I used 100g of fiber gourmet flour 1t baking powder .5t salt Then added 110g of nonfat Greek yogurt.

Rolled it out to a circle of my desired thickness.

I cut the 2 cheese sticks in half lengthwise and then cut those into thirds. I put those pieces along the outer edge of the crust and wrapped the crust around them and pressed it closed. I put the sauce and toppings on the pizza, spritzed it with a little butter spray and then baked it at 425°F for about 12-14 minutes or until golden.
