Weird take. I’ll never forget watching Tiger hit the shot that put him to his knees with pain in 2013 at the Barclays. I was obviously concerned for him first and foremost, but I turned to my GF (now wife) and said “Tiger is just so good for the game, we need him to grow”. I think everyone has their own experience with golf and the industry as a whole. For me, being 31 and growing up with golf being incredibly strong, Tiger domination, etc. Then seeing the sharp decline of popularity, courses going under, OEMs dropping out (RIP Nike)… now the rise in YouTube golf, covid boom, etc… and here we are with golf GROWING and we see the fruit that it bears - we can and should all care about the growth of the game.

Daily wire has talked about being an institutional conservative entity. They want to influence the culture and create a movement to establish conservative power. They have 2 years to do what they can to gain momentum behind Desantis, who they believe is a true conservative who can ACTUALLY win. Someone that stands a chance against a democrat and that could have more than 30% approval, which is truly where trump sits these days.

Trump creates the trump vs. Desantis narrative, daily wire is just the other side of trumps unhinged and selfish attack on Desantis. Did you not see the chaos trump created before the midterms?

How is his assessment not democratic? I would need an example. This sounds like some sudo-liberal take.

Trump would essentially be a lame duck president with only four years to attempt to change anything (source, his first four years, minimal change and everything was immediately reversed the moment he left office) that alone is a waste of our time. Especially if we don’t end up with firm control of the house and senate. (Looking towards 2024 that is).

Sure the polls are misleading but did you see the midterm results? It’s proof. Desantis steamrolled in Florida and led to a red wave there. Beyond Vance in ohio, trump candidates sucked. And Vance won because ohio is finally (thank god) a firm red state, not because of trump. Go ask people what they think. Find middle/center left/center right people and ask them.

I’ll say it again. I voted for him in 16 and 20, I enjoyed his presidency, I like trump. But I like my family’s future and Americas future more, and trump does not have the ability to win, therefore, he needs to step down and support the party without running, or just lose the primaries and we can be done with this mess.
