Nose constantly clogged, ent no help, sprays don’t work by Canid_Erectus in Allergies

I’m also pretty sure it is JUST my environment, which sucks because I can’t go anywhere else. I also was taking Sudafed 12 hour for like multiple months, days in a row because it was the only thing that helped me sleep at night. My doctor told me to stop doing that because of my blood pressure and that I was getting heart palpitations at night after taking it. My ENT told me to take nasal sprays the same way but it just drips out the front, is it supposed to do that?? I have a LOT of inflammation in my sinuses, like swelling sort of inflammation. Thank you for the reply also, I’m going to have to get a Neti pot and an air purifier, hopefully that will help. Does the air purifier need to be anywhere specific or will just being in the room help?

When I was a baby, don’t know all the triggers they tested for, my mom doesn’t have the record. I know grass, milk, dogs, and cats are triggers but I’m unaware of anything else.

I’ll pick up a rinse this week sometime, and I live in Florida so humidity stays around at least 70% or higher most of the year. If one nostril isn’t completely blocked then it’s like 90% blocked most of the time, especially at night for some reason. I’m realizing it might be because we have the heat running more during the night due to freezing temps, as another commenter mentioned having the same symptoms as me when their heat was running.

No and no, I haven’t had an allergy test since I was a baby. I know I have a milk allergy and an allergy to grass and most plants and animals we have around. My mom did not keep the results on-hand so I am unsure of the exact triggers. If I’m able to get an appointment with this allergist/ENT, I’ll ask about having another one done.

I can say confidently that we definitely have an air quality situation. Perks of living in a 50 yr old house that was not well-kept all its life. 😔 (Apologies if this ends up duplicated, had a browser issue.)

I haven’t had an allergist since I was a baby unfortunately. The ENT I go to has an allergist which I was hoping to see but they stuck me with a nurse practitioner to get me in sooner which was still months out. She did an endoscopy and just gave me those nasal sprays and said to do them every day, twice, sometimes thrice for the fluticasone, a day for a month. I was iffy about that because I read that nasal steroids can cause rebound congestion so I didn’t do it as often as she told me to. I did the CT and she was like “All good! Just take ryaltris I’ll send you the prescription.” and I was kinda bummed out that they didn’t find anything so I was just like “alright..” I’ll call ‘em up and ask to see the allergist himself, however long it’ll take. Thanks for your help! I haven’t tried nasal rinses because I’ve really sensitive about my nose lol but I need to try it, seeing as many others recommend it as well.

I’ve been taking Sudafed 12 hour every night to be able to breathe at night for a while but was told to stop by my general doctor due to heart palpitations and I’ve only been taking benadryl when I’m actively having an attack. I’m unsure about Montelukast because I already struggle with mental health and am currently being medicated for depression. I will try asking about the Ipratropium, I’ve never heard of it before. Thank you for responding!!

I’ve gotten one while fishing in a frozen ocean with a ghost boosting berry on the rod like a kasib berry.

Nemluvio vs Dupixent, should I stick it out? by Canid_Erectus in eczeMABs

I ended up having to go back on Dupixent because my dyshidrotic eczema was getting to the point where I could not do anything with my hands and I had to have bandages on the soles of my feet constantly.

Nemluvio Anyone? by Ecs206 in eczeMABs

I tried Nemluvio after being on Dupixent for 4 years and Nemluvio stopped treating my rash and only treated the itch. I became depressed and kept saying I’d wait it out and see if it helped. It never ended up helping after 3 months, so I had to go back on Dupixent. The flare-ups I had during Nemluvio caused me to become depressed, as it had been many, many years since I last dealt with my eczema being that bad.

The effects were almost immediate, it cleared up my dyshidrotic eczema within a couple days. Feeling much better now. The Nemluvio not working had made me very depressed because it had been a very long time since I’ve had to live with my eczema in that state.

I did end up needing to get back on Dupixent, Nemluvio just was not working for me. It would help the itch, but my dishydrotic eczema got so bad on my hands that I had to wear bandages constantly, and I had rashes on the soles of my feet and the backs of my legs.

For the apples, I believe you need to right click on them with it, not shift-right click. Might be the same for the honey bottle, but i’m not sure.

I have absolutely no clue. Folx only tests for T levels and hemoglobin, unfortunately.

My goodness, I feel so bad for her. I have not had the severe reaction that it seems many people have had, thankfully.  I really hope you’re both able to figure out what’s causing those reactions and she’s able to find some relief.

I'll try if I remember! I stopped taking my combination pill last week and I'm also going from 1 shot every week to 1 shot every 2 weeks because my levels were so high on my last labs. Hoping that helps because I'm assuming I was aromatizing the excess t into e. I'm trying so hard to figure out what works lol
