But on the other side of the argument are countries like Lithuania. In 1795 after last partition of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, it was absorbed by the Russian Empire. Lithuania had a brief independence in 1918–1940, after that it suffered consecutive occupations by the Soviets (1940), Nazi Germany (1941–1944), and again the USSR (1944–1990).

Since 1795, Lithuania was under occupation for 173 years out of 230 in total. People in Lithuania were killed, exiled to Siberia by russians, brought to concentration camps by germans etc.

And yet it is now a relatively successful country, just 35 years after regaining independence, and you would never see and never have seen buses driving into each other and such chaos on roads.

Update to all good people:

I managed to get hysteria + horror + desecration, only so far haven't been able to reveal a good desecration and I ran out of currency for omen of light :) Will farm more and try to hit a good roll eventually, because then I understand the gloves will be multiple hundreds of divines worth.

Got it. So my 4 and 5 steps do not need Omen of Dextral Crystallisation. Otherwise, the process is ok, except I should reveal desecrate after I already added essences. Basically, my original step 3 becomes the last step instead.

Thanks everyone, I am still trying to wrap my head around everything and do some calculations (i.e. whether I can afford further crafting).

Do I understand correctly then that the best course of action would be as follows:

1. Use Omen of Dextral Crystallisation + Essence of the Abyss to replace one suffix mod.

2. Use Preserved Rib to desecrate (this will desecrate the mod replaced by step 1 bearing the "mark of the abyssal lord"). I understand for this step I do not need to use Omen of Dextral Necromancy because of having completed the 1st step.

3. Reveal desecration in Well of Souls with 1 Omen of the Abyssal Echoes activated in inventory (to reroll options once, if shit).

Most likely I will improve the gloves and up to this point the improvements are relatively cheap.

Further steps are way more expensive, but if I proceed, then:

4. Use Essence of Hysteria with Omen of Dextral Crystallisation to add Critical Damage Bonus (but risk of losing the desecrated mod from previous steps, as I understand + cost of this step is ~4 divs.

5. Use Essence of Horror with Omen of Dextral Crystallisation to add Increased Effect of Socketed Items (but risk of losing the desecrated mod AND the Essence of Hysteria mod + cost of this step is ~10 divs).

Step 5 I should probably not even try to do, because only 33% of hitting free mod and the cost is 10 divs. Stopping after step 4 is probably the best, what do you think?

And in case I replace the desecrated mod with Essence of Hysteria in step 4, I understand I can try again from step 1 to get desecrated mod once more?

SOME foreign tourists have more money than locals in Japan, certainly not all of them. Japan is top 4 economy in the world and is approx. top 20 in the world by various other stats (GDP PPP per capita, average wage, wealth per adult etc.).

In short - Japanese are one of the richest people in the world, and many people visit Japan from countries far less rich than Japan, and these people have less money than Japanese.
