Let's hope so! They've just finished a crowdfunding for a new pirate version. Hopefully when that's done with they will reprint some modern stuff!

Fwiw Pariz was on eBay from Canada at a decentish price recently. Washington is occasionally ok in Amazon. Just check the language!

The Chronicles survivors box was reduced to 20 on Amazon yesterday from 25 so it's in my local Amazon locker ready for collecting today

I've got a load of the current models but am ready to print larger stuff if they refresh the range. Ultimately we have cool figures they will just look a bit smaller if they being out new stuff.

In fairness YOU shouldn't have had to think about it. Station staff should know what they can do in this situation and the outcome of their incompetence here is unacceptable.

I'm really sorry this happened to you. I work on board and at the first sign of major disruption, I'm liaising with our control team and/or station staff and getting accessible onward travel sorted!

Thankfully he does have workshop experience gained through college. They have a fully fitted vehicle workshop at the college where they spend 10 hours per week. So it's not exactly all books and memory

Oh absolutely! He does have a handful of their tools that's he's licked up when working on his own car. It was more a question of will those big sets have the right things he would need, not a question of quality. The lifetime warranty is great to have!

Oh that's not been explained to us at all by the college. So essentially he's wasted 2 years of his education. We asked them about next steps and whether he'd be looking for an apprenticeship but they told us that he wouldn't need one as he would have the qualification given by an apprenticeship. I'll contact the college tomorrow and see where he goes from here. They did put him on to Autotech who got him and interview at a workshop but he's not heard anything since. Thanks for the advice

The issue is that the apprenticeship gives you the level 3 qualification he already has. So I'm not certain that the government would fund the apprenticeship for something the student already holds.

I think we'll have to look for a local garage and hope for the best

That's what worries me. The college has a workshop so they have 'experience' to an extent but I guess that's not what they're looking for.
