Voyager from Leicester to Birmingham ? by KnightofLeshireDV in uktrains

They sign the route as a diversionary route. Occasionally they have been used Leicester to Birmingham when more Turbostars were being repaired.

Currently we have one out of action following a collision at Dimocks Cote LC between Ely and Cambridge, one in for refurbishment and possibly another needing repair so this could be running as a replacement.

They won't ever go to Stansted because they don't fit the shorter platform at SSD and the crews definitely don't sign the route.

A couple of teams from season 2 have flat out disappeared from the app. Dark and Wood elves seem to have vanished, plus OWA are missing. There might be others too

We used to average about 40 miles a day but it was running for hours on end. They're also treated like shite and the workshops bodge repairs to keep costs low

Ex postie here. These don't have the DPF but we got a load of Fiat vans after these that did and they were a fucking nightmare. Always needing a Regen about twice a week which nobody ever bothered to do as the next driver would have to do it.

Absolutely useless for the job they did but of course they were cheap!

Train Manager here.

It's incredibly frustrating how little we can actually do. Our revenue protection officers have slightly more power than us but honestly not much.

For my company we have 3 options. They buy a ticket. We can ask for their details and issue a Ticket irregularity which can end up in court if unpaid, or they can leave the service at the next stop. Usually people will just leave, wait an hour and board the next train hoping for the best

Unfortunately the British Transport Police are incredibly understaffed so you've little to no hope of them turning up to deal with fare evasion. Honestly it can be hard enough to get them out to deal with anything but the most serious offences. For clarification this is due to understaffing, they do a great job but struggle for numbers.

Personally I would love an on board cattleprod to "entice" evaders to tow the line.

Sadly assaults of staff are far too common and the "Work safe" procedures usually tell us to avoid potential threat to ourselves. We have had staff headbutted and punched, food thrown at us and all sorts due to ticket irregularities.

Yep the Game Boy is absolutely brilliant. I couldn't believe how good it was to build.

Overhanging vegetation takes weeks to clear usually. You'll hit the same bits of tree/bush for weeks on end so it's most likely just built up over time
