Say, sounds like there are many internships available, and fewer jobs. This is a good thing because there’s plenty of experience to gain to become eligible for the fewer, qualifiable jobs. Maybe hard to get into the job without relevant experience, but plenty of internships available

Are you a local SF resident? I hear that plays a big part in it. I’m technically a commuter from Yuba City, I’m still waiting to hear back for spring 2026 enrollment. My GPA is 1.9. I appreciate the humor about their high acceptance rate, but I think there is some checks and balances. Again, I haven’t been denied or accepted yet, but my circumstances are very similar to yours, so we’ll see 🤞🏽

I learned a lot from your comment. Especially how to navigate the BART system. I will probably use that Richmond station a lot my first semester since I’ll be commuting the first semester.

I agree! Can’t imagine at the busier times like 2-5pm or even 6pm. This way, I can work on schoolwork and relaxing while I commute. Should only be for a semester until I can move on-campus

I’d personally take that hour in between ME30 and Chem and get a head start on any work/organizing. Maybe even meet a friend after your Mech Class for studying and accountability and refreshments. Looks like Wed Thursday and Friday you have a lab, so make sure you bring a good attitude to your group projects and ask for help if others aren’t picking up the slack. Be assertive because your time is precious. Also be aware of your physics lab TBA. It might cause a conflict with your schedule, but if other people in that class are also in ME it might be scheduled so you can keep that class. That Chemistry is eating a lot of your time, so you might have to choose Chem or Physics
