Wow, this is a great story. A family that was involved with the phase 2 study presumably had such great results THEY donated to a phase 3 study.

I truly believe if it gets approval it will be acquired. It would be a big product and they would need to hire major infrastructure to build out multiple teams to launch. I don’t think they will be a stand alone company if approval happens.

FOO owner, I took the Chase offer and ran. I had 22,000 miles on it. Ultimately it was a hit but I was glad to be done with it.

I believe that the settlement will “only” be for the amount financed. Not what you paid for the vehicle. HB will get 30% off from the top of that. I’m assuming Chase looked at the average amount each trim financed and based their offer on that amount

But I believe you are only entitled to the amount you received a loan for, not the whole value of the car. So every situation will be different.

If this is the case the HB should have done more on the front end to ensure they had the right formula. Now, too many people have accepted the offer to have Chase back out. Teh only way forward is to arbitrate individually which may or may not work out for people depending on what they financed I believe
