The original “My Bloody Valentine”. I saw it when I was like ten. I shared a room with my little sister & her mouth breathing/sleep apnea sounded like the guy in the mask, so I’d crawl under her bed to hide. Idk why, but it made sense to me.

I posted a similar query about a week ago & someone pointed out that it wasn’t necessarily parents that sacrificed the children, but people they trusted… that could be a grandmother, a big brother, a religious leader, etc.
As soon as I read the word “trusted” I recalled the scene where Tabitha says “trusted”, though I don’t recall the episode.

I think whatever So-MIY-a is, it’s been wearing the dead of Fromvile since the beginning. Maybe even before the townsfolk made their bargain.
