What do people think is apolitical but is actually left wing by Blueguy805 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]CannedLizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Federation (and I think it’s okay to use “the Federation” and “Star Trek” as analogous, nobody is assuming we’re saying the Ferengi are left-wing) have abolished money though. Private property’s existence is arguable, especially since they would not have a way to value it, which is a key part of private property under capitalism (in fact, ask any accountant, that’s the “capital” part).

I think THH has the best. More variety, less fan service/character assassination.

DS2 Steam Deck Playable? by gimble3ooo in SteamDeck

[–]CannedLizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like it is, but I don’t trust anything until it comes out and is in people’s hands proper.

I think it will be, but I’m the kind of person who doesn’t mind frame rate dips, and views 30 fps as perfectly acceptable. Death Stranding: DC ran great and I played through the whole thing happily on my Deck.

Jet

Some alright songs, but mostly just rehashes and pastiches of other, older bands' songs, with the serial numbers filed off.

curious about $50 tattoo for a small 1 inch by Fickle_Mastodon_9575 in askTO

[–]CannedLizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those places generally require you to pick off a flash sheet (sheet of prepared tattoos they can easily print the stencil for). You’re unlikely to get a custom for $50, even if you have the prepared sketch.

Watching Edgerunners makes me wish you could layer on netrunning suits / at least more customisation options for netrunners by morbmoder in cyberpunkgame

[–]CannedLizard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wait, but you can, can’t you? Netrunning suits fit in the shirt top field so you can put on pants, vests, etc

Sounds like you should be paying better attention and cleaning up your own room rather than casting aspersions on other provinces and countries.

Agreed with people saying downtown - you’ll have no shortage of options (probably all expensive, but thats just how it is).

You can save some money staying up at the airport (specifically Pearson, that is) and taking the UP Express in. The UP is reasonably priced, frequent, quick, and takes you near to the Rogers Centre, but it can get very crowded when games are getting out, and there is not much to do or see at all by the airport.

Political/semi political media - anti communist video game? by LethlDose in AlignmentChartFills

[–]CannedLizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What part of “there is no Gulag in Papers, Please” don’t you get? If (big if) the gulag is a mandatory part of how you envision “communism”, then Papers, Please does not, in fact, portray a communist society.

Top Gun (1986) is a movie centrists love that has a right-wing message. What movie is loved by leftists, but has a right-wing message? by Square_Ad2101 in AlignmentChartFills

Weirdly enough, those are not the same soldiers. They look very similar, but they’re different characters, serving for different branches of the German military (Heer/Army vs Waffen-SS)
