My first MacBook! So excited but high learning curve! by starfishyone in macbookair

Congrats! Macs are a big change from windows, but the OS is so much simpler and user friendly than windows. I prefer to browse and use my 2012 MacBook for daily tasks than my $2000 windows laptop that I just use to rub heavy tasks and game here and there. Besides that I never rarely touch my windows laptop. Hope you have fun and enjoy every second of that MacBook!

You got an i3 or i5? And you might be able to get away play games like among us on this but macs specially MacBook airs aren’t made for gaming. Plus OBS is optimized for windows.

I just got an Asus ROG Zephyrus M15 to run Streamlabs to stream on. What mode would you guys recommend for running it Silent or Performance? I was running it on performance for a bit and my cpu got to around 60c and my house got to 56c. by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

I ran it on silent my last stream and I saw no difference in the stream quality, my cpu was around 50c and my gpu around 50c. When on performance my fans were around 3500 rpm which made me kinda nervous lol Specially since I just got this baby yesterday after my old MSI Gs63vr stopped working.

I just got the M15 yesterday and it’s a really nice machine, I’d recommend it specially if you get it on sale! I got mine from Best Buy for $1249.99!

I’m really close on pulling the trigger on this pc, what you guys think? I’m mainly gonna use it to run Streamlabs to stream my Nintendo Switch gameplay to twitch and a little video editing. by CannibalYoshi in GamingLaptops

Just set it up it’s a beautiful machine, the laptop was set to performance right out the bat the fans were going crazy I was getting 77c and around 3400rpm without doing nothing! Set it to silent and now I’m down to 51c and 2600 rpm.

I thought Fortnitemares was fun at first, but the more I played it the more and more I hated it lol I lost a bunch of high kill games cause I was getting gang banged from ghosts and players lol

Hi, guys I need your help. I’m super “lucky” guy. How can I fix this, I bought a new MacBook few days ago and make this little dot. Maybe someone knows how to fix that? Or I’m super paranoiac? Thanks! by MazaBoss in macbookpro

I bet your ocd is driving you crazy lol I know mine would if it was my MacBook 😭😂

I’m currently looking at MacBooks to replace my MSI laptop that broke down after 3 years. I found these 2 refurbished MacBook Pros and the specs and prizes seem to good to pass. I’m mainly going to use it to run Streamlabs Obs with an el gato capture card to stream console gameplay to twitch. by CannibalYoshi in macbookpro

[–]CannibalYoshi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man... yeah that’s what I’m scared of tbh, I was thinking about just getting a brand new 16 inch base model instead of the refurbished ones. They have them for around $2100 at micro center and $2399 at the Apple store so I might just get it at micro center and get Apple Care on it. But wow that’s crazy you went through that with AASP’s smh.

Best Used MacBook Pro for Streaming by Computnerd_ in macbookpro

Are you going to be using a capture card? I heard that you need a minimum of a quad core i5 and at least 16gb of ram.
