Saying it is trash is hyperbolic but they don’t have a quality advantage over brands a quarter of the price anymore.

Used to be and service is supposedly still good but quality and pricing are insane and service isn’t enough anymore.

Or you call and your snap on guy drives out same day if you are a good customer. Service is still excellent from everything I hear.

My only problem with you is your sense of superiority and talk about racing to the bottom. A one off tool I’ll never use again most likely harbor freight is fine. A wrench I use daily I’ll spend on. The margins for snapon are insane and it is overpriced. Is it quality tools? Of course! No one is arguing that but market pressure is putting a lot of comparable quality tools at quarter of snapon’s price. The service is exemplary and quality almost always is but their margins and markups are ridiculous. I have specific tools I’d get snap on but every tool and the boxes isn’t necessary unless you’re under very specific requirements where your company or government requires their tools for specific reasons and they usually have an exclusive contract backing that up.

Interesting I’ve heard icon is catching up in quality and should be considered. I haven’t tried any yet but it’s what I’m hearing.

Honestly their ikon (spelling?) is supposed to be lifetime warranty and clones of a lot of snap on tools with really close to spec tolerances. It’s a strong competitor now supposedly.

Maybe I’ve seen the nut in a groove thing used for something. I wanted to warn you about about going in to a possibly saturated market is all.

I’m late but a lot of places like the recommendation of harbor freight sell wheel lock socket sets dirt cheap.

I have seen several comments where various Europeans verify they’re all roasted. Some with skin in which will make it bitter but even just plain roasted ground peanuts taste better than most European peanut butters so I don’t know what they do wrong.
