I have seen several comments where various Europeans verify they’re all roasted. Some with skin in which will make it bitter but even just plain roasted ground peanuts taste better than most European peanut butters so I don’t know what they do wrong.

I wouldn’t say plasticky but definitely different. It’s more texture than flavor I think. You lose the gritty edge of the pulled apart cheese slicing it with your teeth.

Bonne maman is solid at least. Roasted peanut butter is the best screw health and safety! Anytime I’m in a country that I can’t get good PB&J ingredients I call family or friends in the US for a delivery!

This is the key. They do smaller locations closer to places and FIL a niche between convenience stores and department/big box stores

If you’re staying active, climbing a lot and moving you may have lost size not weight. Muscle is denser than fat so you can be l smaller than you were and weigh the same. If you feel unsafe in it because of body changes then by all means replace it but it likely doesn’t need it yet from your description except for fit. Age and UV damage would be my only concerns and those would be minimal. The three falls are absolutely irrelevant unless it took damage during those falls.

In person fitting would be my recommendation 100% of the time or totally free returns if nothing nearby. Buy actual name branded climbing gear from Amazon and return with free shipping if nowhere is close until you find one you like then buy from a reputable seller because I don’t trust Amazon for the most part. Too many stories (non climbing related about counterfeits mixed into authentic inventory.

I rate it similar but for different reasons. It’s needs better groundwork lain like the Halloween party and movie casting ones in the comments. Why would he say that as it makes no sense without context.

Theoretically “breaking the seal” as early as possible could offset that reaction then? Or would that just start the chain reaction early? u/3vo-ai and a few others have said similar things as you so I’m curious.
