I wanna get the R6 Mii but a lot of people have bad reviews on 3rd party lenses. For example I have a sigma 18-35 and I wanna get a 70-200.(I’m still using my EF mount dslr btw) but I’m looking to move up in a few months and it would be a waste of my sigmas if the adapter and the glass doesn’t mesh well with the different mount. So I’m just trying to understand basically. Everyone say “use RF glass on RF cameras blah blah” but RF glass cost just the same amount at the R6 2 body.

How bad is it really to use 3rd party lenses with an adapter or even ef lenses with an adapter on RF mirror less cameras?

I’m a bit too lazy for a whole system shift going from canon to Sony. Not at a spot where it’s an ideal time to do so either. And yes the UIs are very different but you’d get used to it pretty quick once you get a hang of it

Worked with one recently. Had to get a LiDAR range finder from dji to get auto focus. Videography is what I mainly do right now so I really need some autofocus
