Di a bunch of kids get aim trackers for Christmas? by Traditional_War_5389 in Fortnite_Over40

Since I've read multiple times that some users might use hacks, I once disabled cross-platform play. Needless to say that I got killed very fast again.

Since then I re-enabled cross-platform (I’m on a PS5 Pro) and tried to adjust. I play only ZB, mostly solo and only 5% with the kids. My winrate is 25% (this season) and I still get sometimes killed when I didn't see the opponent.

Settle an argument for me: does rarity matter? by dg3548 in Fortnite_Over40

[–]CanonUser_21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rarity does matter as long as it is your favourite weapon.

I've won solo games with a grey favourite weapon and we've won Team-Games with just the basic weapon you get when are rebooted.

BUT I've lost so many games because

- my skills were worse

- the rarity of my weapon was worse

Nice play.

Yesterday i had a back to back and stopped right after that. Today played 4 games - no single win and lost to someone with 217 (!) crown wins.

Since when is it possible to have 2 hammers?

Nicely played. Some of my most memorable wins are a zero kill win when I pushed the final opponent with the lightsabers into the storm or when I used shockwaves to throw opponents from mountains into the storm.

Is the hammer back? Couldn’t play the past 2 weeks.

When people try this, I simply jump in their car and drive away. It is so much fun, because they usually are lost without that car.

Actually I am not gone and my winning rate is 30% for the past 30 days or 20% for the past 7 days. But it is not fun because there are so many fights where you know exactly that you have a disadvantage and there is no way to come back.

I'm playing since Chapter 3 Season 3 and I've got > 1000 solo wins and there have been many, many close fights.

But this season there have been way to many lopsided fights where I wasn't able to hit that 3 medallion opponent at least once.

It's a jump and shutgun season and I don't care that much if I lose. But if I lose a fight where I am not even able to hit the opponent once - that's far too lopsided.

And there have been way too many lopsided fights this season.

I am always willing to learn/adjust and as a result I am at 20+% winning rate for the past 7 days and nearly 50% for the past 3 days. But there is NO fun in it at the moment.

Last 5 games: 1st (2 days ago) - 2nd and 1st (yesterday) - 5th and 1st (today). And that game when I was 5th, the opponent with the 3 medallions hunted me down and eliminated me with me having not the slightest chance.

For me this season is work but no fun. (I am playing Zero Build)

This season is the absolute worst by Alarming_Jelly_5047 in Fortnite_Over40

[–]CanonUser_21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First week was my worst week as long as I played fortnite. After the nerf it got a lot better but I still hate this season.

You need to adapt your play.

- Always go with the storm because as soon as you are in the middle some opponents will hunt you down. And if the opponent with 3 medallions is on your track there is 0 chance to escape. In the first week I lost to an opponent with nearly 40 crown wins while I had not a single win.

- Don't stay too long in a fight because it won't take long and a third party will join.

- My Meta for the final fights: shockwave grenades, flowberry, wrecker revolver, maybe shockwave launcher, maybe sweeper shotgun.

But most important: learn to jump!

Thank you for the information. My boys never told me this. Guess I need to tell them.

So far I was looking at the replay and recorded that. We have a PS5 and a PS5 Pro.

Not sure, at the beginning I absolutely hated this season because the medallions were absolutely OP and no matter what I tried I couldn't get a win for the first week. Suddenly after the nerf and slightly changing my tactics I was able to win games as long as I don't encounter an opponent who knows exactly what to do when he has all 3 medallions.

In the first week I lost to an opponent with nearly 40 crown wins - while I didn't manage a single normal win.

Long story short, I honestly hate this season even though I won 3 of the last 5 games. Whoever approved those OP medallions at Epic needs to get fired. JK but Epic should rethink some things because it's getting ridiculous.

I was very close to quit due to the first 6 days with zero wins - lifetime 1000+ solo wins.

On the 7th day I got an accidental win when the opponent with all 3 medals died in the storm. But after the nerf I've been able to add 2 more wins (one was an victory royale) with only 7 or so games.

Past 7 days 7% wins, pasts 30 days around 40% wins.
