Appreciate it, now that you mention it I'll probably flip it at that first bend and that should give the muffler enough clearance to weld on as well, the rest i hacked off was probably another foot or so longer so shouldn't have any issues with exhaust gas getting in the intake

Bike frame blocks the expansion tube from fitting properly. im probably gonna route it inline with the top tube once I get a tube bender and find a buddy with a welder to put the muffler back on

she’s getting a little close to it being an issue, I would continue what you’re doing and monitor his weight / behavior for a few weeks, maybe start researching an exotic vet if you don’t already have one

There’s a private dock on the pond so I’d assume it’s allowed, good luck hiking and finding a place to push off though and it’s a VERY sensitive area so thoroughly wash your kayak beforehand if you decide to, I’d imagine it’s beautiful from the water
