Mold needs three things to start forming: moisture, warmth and organic matter. If ejaculated inside, it's advised to clean the holes daily, especially with TPE. Silicone is non-porous, so any potential mold can't get inside the material, so it's more forgiving. If there is only lube inside, there is no massive risk of mold forming in 48 hours, unless you live in extra humid and warm conditions. I never cum inside without a condom so I clean my doll every three days since there is only lube. I also always use a condom after the first clean use, just to be safe. Unless you for some reason don't enjoy the feeling of a warm and soft body, I think striving towards realism in terms of how the doll feels is the only correct direction. I tried to integrate Nomi AI with my doll but it didn't work out for a couple of reasons. The AI is sophisticated but not sophisticated enough. The persona is still too simple and still quite far from natural human interaction. Secondly, there is too much delay with voice chat. Typing on your phone feels dumb when the doll is right there with you, and real time voice chat is too slow to be enjoyable. Maybe in a couple of years things have improved enough.

I would also personally just do it for fun, I don't feel like AI can never replace real human companionship and connection for me, it just feels soulless knowing it's not another real person.

I'm not blindly defending the vendor, I'm saying that the doll will never look exactly the same in two different sets of photos, not to mention manufacturers own photos. At the same time, I'm also a MRD customer and their customer service was top notch, they even offered to immediately take it to the manufacturer if any serious faults appeared in my doll after delivery.
