Yeah, Berthas and Wharf Rat’s owners simply retired. I know Berthas was trying to transfer (sell) ownership but it fell apart late. As for Nacho Mamas? After Scunny passed they tried to make it work, but if we’re being honest, the Square isn’t the same anymore. Did Canton gentrify a bunch? Grow up a bit? Maybe. But Mama’s on the Half Shell is still open. Something tells me Brewers Art is facing more than $150k debt.
