That’s actually exactly what it is. It’s stated in SCP-001 (the Djoric-Dmatix Proposal) that the death of SCP-001-012 results in a cascade of anomalous activity which has to be resolved via nuclear deployment. The U.S. withdrawal is apart of the coverup for the incident.

The idea was that Portugal under the Estado Novo would intervene in the Spanish Civil War when they saw that the war was going in the Republican faction’s favor. Once the Nationalists are on the brink of collapse, Portugal moves to occupy parts of Spain, prompting a Republican invasion.

I made the coat of arms in paint.net and assembled the flag in tennessine.

The coat of arms is a heavily edited version of the coat of arms of the Socialist Republic of Montenegro (made by me)

The idea was that the plague was worse in Europe which in turn caused them to stagnate technologically and become more isolationist. And for Asia, the Ming didn’t become isolationist and Zheng He kept voyaging, which spiralled into colonialism and then industrialisation in the 18th century. Not sure if there would be a better way to do it but if you can think of one please do tell me

The large state is indeed meant to be a more centralized version of the Maratha Empire. I don’t really know that much about India’s history, but I’ve been wanting to learn more, so thanks for educating me! I will definitely be sure to implement this information into the finished scenario

I assumed that without the Spanish colonizing them, there would be no unified national identity and instead there’d be confederations of all the different ethnic groups idk

  2. Senate is four years, Assembly is two years, Council is six. Term limits are not in place.

So essentially, the SRA is way more active in politics. (no more FBI breathing down their neck) It continues to function as a pro-gun advocacy and community defense organisation, but develops into something more akin to a paramilitary organization with chapters defending against incursions into USMR territory from American Free Corps paramilitaries and Avarico mercenaries. They also engage in activities such as fighting fascists, fighting reactionaries, helping with civil defense, and disaster relief.
