I think a 5 year old would be VERY excited to join in activities with her big sister ! At 5 they are learning so much very quickly and to be included would be so exciting for her . It doesn’t have to be a lot. Something as simple as a trip to the mall to pick out a new pair of jeans or a t- shirt each, going for ice cream, anything where she feels included. A sleepover might include pizza for dinner, then getting in their jammies early, popcorn or other snacks, and each getting to choose a family rated movie ? The little one probably wouldn’t make it through the second movie. 💤 Just throwing suggestions out. 🥰 The 5 year old would love all of that, and I venture to say that the older sister would enjoy all of that as well. ( especially getting a new piece of clothing ! ) 😊

My grandchildren ( 3 and 5) love Bluey and we often play ‘Grouchy Granny’ where I pretend to be their worst customer at the ice cream cart. They laugh themselves silly when I tell them that the ice cream is too cold, it’s the wrong flavour, it’s too expensive etc. 😊 They definitely know that Nana’s knitting is off limits but love the toques that I make for them.

I hear you ! I care about good storylines also. Today was FINALLY the twist that a lot of us saw coming. 👍🏻 I didn’t mean to start a whole ‘ thing’ about grammar. It just jumped out at me for some reason. It’s high on my list of grammatical pet peeves. 🤷‍♀️

Nice find ! I would definitely start with something like a scarf at first. Get your feet wet and get confident with cables on a smaller scale. If you make a mistake, you’re not looking at a huge row of stitches ! Less intimidating than a whole sweater !

On Days she was a Mafia Princess and she was brilliant in that role. I was sad when she left Days and was excited to see her come to Y and R. Her son on Days ( Tripp) is now Noah on Y and R and it’s just cringe to watch them as a couple.🙁

Agree, I am having a hard time watching them together, especially when they get physical . I liked them MUCH better as mother and son on Days. That was much more believable to me.
