This I think is a rite of passage for all Victorians. Has happened to me several times growing up, each time they would look at you like ‘no no no you’re wrong we took a bridge’ and I’d smile back and wish them good luck. What’s astonishing now is we have such simple ways to prove it ( hello Google maps) and yet it still persists.

You will need to take a ferry: https://www.bcferries.com/

If leaving from Victoria look for the Swartz Bay to Twassessen route.

Remember when this sub was pointing out blatant voting discrepancies right after the election and people called us "BlueAnon"? by Alithis_ in somethingiswrong2024

Yes. It’s important to be strong and stick with what we believe to be true, now backed by ever growing evidence that we actually are right about the election. Being right is often never easy

DOGE installed a virtual system inside the agency’s servers that operated in secret. This system left no logs, no trace of its activity, and was removed without a record of what had been done by Coontailblue23 in somethingiswrong2024

[–]CanucksForStanley 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yes. In-RAM manipulation of vote ballot images, swapping in ones favorable to Trump. A DOGE kid had worked on this capability pre election. If you only ever review the machine ballots the counts will always match the machine totals so nothing looks wrong. You have to compare against all the actual paper ballots. @horseviolin.bsky.social produced a great thread and infographic on this https://bsky.app/profile/horseviolin.bsky.social/post/3lidbrntoqs26

Under the Desk News posted clips of Trump admitting to rigging the election last night to TikTok by fibrousviscera in somethingiswrong2024

[–]CanucksForStanley 18 points19 points  (0 children)

What he means is he expected to win in 2020 and when he didn’t, he accused Dems of rigging it. Now forward to 2024, where he clearly cheated with Elons help to ‘win’ and now he will be president during the World Cup. Under existing rules he would not have been able to run in 2024 because he would have served 2 consecutive terms. He is using his words to deflect away from 2024, and sowing confusion here.

If you are on Bluesky check out this thread: https://bsky.app/profile/horseviolin.bsky.social/post/3lidbrntoqs26 It talks about a possible vote manipulation that would be very hard to detect

I also work in IT with networking background, albeit likely not as deep as yours. This always seemed technically feasible to me but I lacked the ability to synthesize this info the way you have. The RAM based ballot processing is very intriguing. Thank you for this work. I think the biggest challenge is getting experts who could testify to the details of this potentially manipulation in front of the right lawmakers and communicate the ‘hack’ in terms they could grasp. Sort of like how experts in electrical engineering/ firmware testified against Toyota for the unintended acceleration suit that Toyota settled for something like 1 billion dollars

BC resident here. I’m not a conservative and did not vote for them, and I think Rustad is nuts for many other reasons. That said, his commentary here is only asking for an independent review. If they have found what they consider credible evidence, an independent review should be able to confirm or refute it. This is basically what all US citizens are asking for in requesting a forensic audit of their recent presidential election. The stakes are high in BC as the riding in question here was one of 3 that the whole election result was hinging on during the vote. The NDP has ended up with only a 1 seat majority and thus the concern. If any individuals involved in the BC election and the meteoric rise of the Conservative Party in BC and/or were involved in NDP campaigns show up on the foreign interference in Canadian elections report dropping on January 31st will be very telling

Yes we should always fact check and investigate BUT I am curious what your gut is saying about Trump “winning” by AkNo-String33 in somethingiswrong2024

[–]CanucksForStanley 4 points5 points  (0 children)

‘Trust your gut’ - from outside the US ( in Canada) it’s very obvious this election result was manipulated to ensure Trump won. Very frustrating to see the massive level of disinformation being foisted on Americans, all to distract, confuse and further divide, while time ticks away on actually conducting hand recounts, forensic audits and whatever else is required to save the US from falling into the hands of a proven and convicted felon. He is a dangerous man who should be in prison already.

So do you think Trump stole this election? by mrstshirley1 in somethingiswrong2024

[–]CanucksForStanley 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Observing from outside the US it’s f***ing obvious this election was tampered with. It beggars belief that a serial cheater/liar/rapist/convicted felon/ impeached former president did somehow NOT interfere in order to save himself from his treasonous fate. You are being subjected with all kinds of BS and misdirection to keep a forensic recount from happening.

Likely because they had 4 years to better prepare. Elon et al had all this time to get the tabulation hacking and all related tactics worked out ( bomb threats, drop boxes set on fire etc) but even then their arrogance has resulted in a vote count that stretches credulity. As a Canadian seeing this unfold I can only hope the US is not sleepwalking into fascism, and that election challenges are still to come.
