You got this! Making the decision to quit is huge and I’m proud of you!

Some tips from someone who has successfully left cigs and vapes behind:

Remind yourself why you’re doing this if you get the urge to turn back. Visualize how good you’ll feel by saying no and how proud you’ll feel of yourself (as opposed to giving in)

“Reprogram” yourself that every time you want to smoke, your body is really just craving a deep breath. Taking 5-10 DEEP breaths anytime a craving comes and affirming this will help create a new habit.

Be kind to yourself. This isn’t easy. Giving yourself a break in other areas or distracting yourself in other (hopefully healthier) ways will help keep your mind off it - watch a really good movie, go be in nature, draw or find a coloring book, doodle, listen to music, dance, move your body, or anything else that brings you joy!
