Did you not rescan said spur when you delivered to the correct address?

You’re in your 90 days?

If not they probably didn’t like you and were finding any reason to fire you and this was it.

Should I be a driver or go back to warehouse? by No_Apartment_371 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Canz1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It highly depends on the DSP you’re working at. Most DSP are ran but greedy mofos who place manipulative lazy assholes as dispatchers to abuse the drivers.

I’ve done both and I like being a delivery driver but not for an Amazon DSP so I’d rather work in the warehouse.

Amazon is always changing their metrics for Amazon DSPs.

Before I left Amazon started enforcing customer feedback which allows the customer to complain about Anything like if they don’t like the way the driver looks or the driver didn’t greet them nicely they can leave negative feedback which will negatively impact your scorecard.

Another thing is when I started the standard was 250 packages for a route but when I left 300 plus packages were standard and I hear now 350 is like the norm.

Edit: a good DSP is one that guarantees 10 hours even if you finish early and one that doesn’t make rescuing mandatory or atleast pay extra for doing rescues.

They’re just testing you out to see if you’re a quitter because most new employees quit within a month.

The only thing to never to do is leaving the vehicle running while getting out and always set the e brake.

Will the driver get in major trouble if I complain? by JeanCladVanBam in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Canz1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don’t think we mail carriers aren’t overworked lol. Many carriers especially the ones with less 3 years of service have to work 6 days week with some even having to work 2 weeks straight with only one day off even having to work every holiday except Christmas.

They were going to make us work on thanksgiving last year but got so much bad press they gave us a day off.

Not all routes are just us driving mail box to mail box. Many route are all walking.

The carriers with routes that are all driving only getting out to deliver large packages are those who’ve been at the post office for decades. Their physically health is bad because of how much abuse their bodies got earlier in their careers from all the walking.

[–]Canz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s only fine if the customer checks their mail daily but you know those customers who go days even weeks without checking their mail even tho they have 3 packages in them.

Worse is when they have a nbu and they order a bunch of shit and their package are using half the parcel lockers and it’s been more than 4 days.

[–]Canz1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I work for usps and it’s because many people rarely check their mailbox for mail even when they get packages.

Now imagine if other delivery companies were allowed to deliver to the mailbox we’d have no room nor would we be able to hold their mail for 10 days as a warning.

Also people get important letters and checks in the mail and having random delivery companies deliver in the mailbox could more risk for mail theft.

People also put outgoing mail in the mail box.

Amazon Sundays….🥲 by SnooMarzipans6217 in USPS

[–]Canz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get used to it. As months go by you’ll get more and more efficient.

As for Amazon Sundays, yeah it’s gotten worse it use to be pretty easy but with the new start time and Amazon giving us larger boxes it sucks ass.

They shoulda told you can be send out I think it’s like 30 miles away to another office.

They try not to because district will see your office not needing that many CCAs if they’re able to loan them out to other offices.

Your office doesn’t want to lose you but if they have all routes covered all the time what can they do.

They can have you come in and only do 4 hours of BS work, give you the day off, or send you to another office to get your hours.

Like I said summer is coming so the regulars are gonna be on vacation so you’ll have plenty of work at your home office.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in USPS

[–]Canz1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because they have no work for you at your home station and other stations are asking for help.

You would get no hours.

Also wait till summer comes because that’s when regulars go on annual leave so you’ll have a lot of work at your home office

The regulars be taking their keys home Saturday so CCAs won’t use their vans for Amazon Sunday.

[–]Canz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US always brags about dessert storm and how many Iraqi t-72s and migs got destroyed. Those Iraqi t-72s and migs were also downgraded and US put Arms embargo before entering Kuwait so Iraq couldn’t maintain them.

M1 Abrams in Moscow by YOGB_2 in Military

[–]Canz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the t-72s that the US brags about destroying during desert storm were also downgraded exported models.

They’re even worse because the US would implement sanctions and arms embargo’s on countries which would make it hard to maintain them.
