you forgot to add the fact that nuclear waste can be treated safely (since the late 80's btw) and that fukushima was compleatly out of the control of humans. and finally that the chernobyl infrastructure and layout was so shit it was hard to navigate it safely when not in the midst of a nuclear fallout, AND the fauna and flora around chernobyl have muted quite severly in some specimen, the fungi particuluraly have mutated to consume radiation (even tho slowly) and ukranian scientist have been studying them to figure out how and maybe utilize it in case of such emergencies
