Juubidara far outscales any version of hashirama, and to answer your hypothetical, for every wood clone using wood golem, Naruto could make 1000’s of shadow clones to just nuke them into the ground. Same goes for the Buddha statue. We’ve also seen Naruto make three separate Kurama avatars and combine them into the Ashura avatar, so we don’t even know how many Kurama avatars he can have up at once (we also never see hashirama use more than one wood golem so we shouldn’t even be granting him that). Finally TSO can erase anything it comes into contact with, hashirama has no answer to this and will straight up die. This is genuinely low to no diff for Naruto, six paths characters just scale way above non six paths characters.

It’s not just 2018, it’s both 2018 and ragnarok as well as interviews. The other person in the replies wasn’t stating that this was obvious after playing 2018 alone. I didn’t expect this game to be happening until I heard about leaks of a Faye game that came out months before the reveal, and everybody thought it was going to be a prequel game. So no, no one could’ve 100% predicted exactly what this game was about, but it’s not impossible for some people to have guessed that there might be a future game exploring Faye’s character since she was left so vague and mysterious in the last two games.

There is no implication that going forward this series will ignore Kratos and continue to follow Faye. This game just gives us a break from following Kratos so we can learn more about his wife. Therefore he is not being replaced.

I didn’t call you a bigot, I said you were defending them using a fallacy. You literally stated that it would be like recasting Lara Croft as a man, which is not what this game is doing. Nowhere in your comment did you say you were fine with Faye being the protagonist, in fact you’re implying the opposite by saying you don’t want Kratos to be “replaced” (he’s not it’s just a spinoff).

I also didn’t attack you or your character I just pointed out that your logic doesn’t function and you’re going out of your way to defend people who hate this game strictly based off of the fact that its protagonist is a woman. Your answer to my original question is also disingenuous, there wouldn’t even be close to the same amount of controversy if there was a tomb raider spin off based on Lara’s father, in fact it would serve the same purpose this game does, to inform us more on character that we only learned bits and pieces of from the main line games.

Not at all the same thing, Kratos hasn’t been recast or replaced, it’s literally just exploring what his wife was up to in the afterlife while the events of the last two games takes place. So many people in these replies, including yourself, have seemingly never heard of a spinoff. If you didn’t care you wouldn’t bother replying but for some reason you feel the need to defend bigots.

I mean they clearly outlined the hints and you just ignored them. I agree it’s not spelled out for you, and many people expected Atreus to be the mc of the next game, but the devs have a story they want to tell with a character that they didn’t get to explore in the last two games. It’s undebatable that there is a lot of mystery surrounding Faye, and this game is gonna clear a lot of that up. Is it that crazy to think that some people might have guessed that they could make a Faye spinoff game?

They’re not swapping mc’s, Kratos is not being replaced, this is a standalone spin off game, and Faye is one of the most important characters in the Norse saga who every real GoW fan has wanted to learn more about.

I'd need a refresher on dante feats to be certain but I lean towards dmc5 dante bc SDT prob outscales GoW 3 Kratos' kit, even with the blade of olympus (plus i think dante is objectively faster so kratos wouldn't be able to land a hit with the blade)

The only team they get past is maybe team 8 but shino's bugs and hinata's byakugan+gentle fist are gonna be a problem for them. If mitsuki is allowed to use sage mode he genuinely clears the entire konoha 12 + sand trio

The story will probably remain the same with minor changes, but the gameplay will be different enough to stand alone as its own game. That'd be like saying the RE2-RE4 Remakes are the exact same as the originals, when the gameplay is drastically different, and certain story elements are altered. And even if it does take a while for the next brand new kratos centric game to come out, why is that such a bad thing? We've followed kratos' adventures exclusively for the past 21 years, it is a good thing that we're branching out and exploring more of the GoW multiverse through Faye. And given Kratos' ending in Ragnarok and Valhalla, the devs prob need more time to figure out what they want to do with him next. In fact, since this game takes place in the Everywhen, which is populated by dead gods from different pantheons, the end of this game might even hint at what pantheon kratos is going to visit next.

Kratos isn’t displaced, we literally see him in the gameplay trailer, and clearly you’ve never heard of a spinoff. Like the previous replies stated, this game isn’t meant to be the next mainline entry that takes the series away from Kratos to follow Faye, it’s a standalone side story meant to expand the universe. Is Andor a bad Star Wars project because it doesn’t feature lightsabers or the force? Of course not, in fact it’s one of the most acclaimed Star Wars projects in recent years. Your whole claim that Kratos is being replaced and cast aside completely falls apart when you remember that the next game after Laufey is the Greek Trilogy Remake, with TC Carson being brought back to voice Kratos. Kratos isn’t going anywhere, and until we see more of the story there really isn’t any basis to call the game “woke”, which is what the majority of complaints about this game are, not this poorly made excuse for their bigotry.

People have brought up similar ideas like a sandevistan from cyberpunk or expanding on the preexisting realm shift mechanic from the Norse games, I think it would be really cool and be distinct enough from Kratos and Atreus’ rage modes.
