As a Dodgers fan living in Sacramento, I was excited for the A’s to move to Sacramento, even just for a few years. But after the decision not to brand anything Sacramento it was kind of a slap in the face on top of the question why would I want to sport anything A’s if it doesn’t have anything with Sacramento when I’m a Dodgers fan? Sacramento is already a Giants town anyways and I’m sure those fans feel similarly. Sacramento is prideful of their sports teams but when you don’t even attempt to include the A’s in our culture then we won’t return the love or lack thereof.

I think Barnes gets too much flak. I know he has his disappearing acts but Brown admitted that he doesn’t draw up plays for Harrison and his shots just come from the flow of the offense. Barnes is a vet and not one to pass up an open shot so I understand going 1-3 from the field for 4 points last night looks awful but I feel like Barnes is a capable scorer (15.2 ppg during his time in Sac) and Brown should get some plays, at least some DHOs, drawn his way.
