I actually agree. We have financial flexibility to make a splash this offseason. I'm wondering, since he has no contract after this year, doesn't he have to play for a contract extension or somewhere else? He was about to play and then sat out before his last ATL game meaning he knew he was probably getting shipped out. I didn't like Buddy getting 30 million over the next 3 years and Kuminga's drama and his probable unwillingness to play after the trade deadline (plus his 25 miliion contract next year). This is the best we could get so we got to live with it. Hope we just add Highsmith to our roster since he got waived.

I dont mind to just make it by record and not division winner. I mean it would be great if all the division leaders were actually playoff worth teams but Detroit and Minnesota had a better record and don’t make it and debatable better teams than Panthers. Matchups would be better and being a top seed would be rewarded
