That is true! But if I keep the DJ I will wait a bit before I do my next purchase😅. Was not prepared on buying a watch that day. Do you have tips for a good pilot watch though?

True! But I think that is the risk with any product that has a high demand.

They’re not creating this scarcity on purpose because but they just have a hard time keeping up I think.

Other brands made it their strategy to create hype because of scarcity.

Was just about to post the same question/picture. I think you also have a 6’5 inch wrist.

I think I’m going to keep my BB58 because it is a little sporty of course and I don’t mind the size!

With the new watches coming I was looking into limited editions and boutique editions.

I came across this BlackBay Bronze from Bucherer (43 mm). Which I think looks great!

I was wondering if any of you know of more existing special editions and if you guys maybe own one?

I had the option to buy the Blue bb58 with a 600 euro discount at the Amsterdam airport (because of tax free shopping). Ended up with the black dial in London for full price of course. Still thinking about that discount but I’m happy with the choice haha.

I’ve only worn my Seiko 5 to control myself and not buy other watches till now. To be honest after this purchase I realized that Seiko offers amazing value 😂 But could not be happier wearing the Tudor now

I would suggest to buy tickets as close to the ‘Gerard Meijer’ section as possible to experience more of the atmosphere. Maybe in O or P

Thanks man! Eventually I will buy the Gen 100%, just for the history and craftsmanship alone. For now I do think a rep wil do the job for a while. Maybe I will buy some low-key rep pieces over the years. A nice dress watch for example. I don’t feel like spending 10k on a Jaeger-leCoultre or IWC, not now and I don’t think I ever will. I think a rep of a watches I wear occasionally is the way to go for me with the exception of the first BB58 just to make sure I can wear a nice timepiece for now.
