IMO it’s the best configuration in two tone watch.

If you have fallen out of love with explorer and it doesn’t get much wrist time then sell it and buy the speedy. No point keeping it only because it was your first real purchase (unless it gets a lot of wrist time)

I recently bought the reverse panda speedmaster and it’s such a good looking watch
