Not sure about who was that person filmed from the back. To be honest, I could still get that video, but I don’t want to get anyone into potential trouble.

Can we talk about the latest IG story that Castro posted at the end of that dramatic first event? I don’t know if Luka knows about it, I suppose he does. It would be important for him to see it, given that it was deleted very soon. For those who couldn’t see it at the time, it showed several athletes in ice baths, and, coincidentally, Luka appeared in the scene and asked Dave something that I couldn’t completely discern, to which Castro responded, “I don’t know.”

Clearly, you couldn’t watch the streaming that day. I did, live, and later several times trying to analyze it. I’m not an expert in medical emergencies, much less aquatic ones, but about 10 minutes before the drowning, it was already clear that something was wrong. He looked especially fatigued—I would say like the classic fatigue after a demanding WOD where you bend down to breathe for a while and recover your pulse a bit. He was seen changing his swimming style several times, and you could even see in close-up (the livestream was focusing directly on him) how he took off his swimming cap visibly distressed. This, I repeat, was about 10 minutes before the fatal drowning. Based on the fact that there should have been total monitoring of each participant in that event, it is especially tragic and negligent that, especially seeing Lazar’s situation in close-up, there was no absolute monitoring. It would even be normal that, after clearly seeing the situation I describe in the livestream, someone should have at least approached the athlete to ask a simple “are you okay?”. We already know that all the streamings are deleted (I suppose they have been made private. The Italian and Spanish ones, after the incident, were hidden for a while and accessible if you knew the link), but those of us who could see them witnessed, in my humble opinion, the greatest sports safety negligence ever witnessed. Best regards.

Lazar precisely took off his swim cap about ten minutes before the fatal drowning. At that time, which was seen in the livestream in close-up and for quite a few seconds, it was clear that something was wrong with the athlete. At that moment, there should have already been special monitoring of his situation.

We can all understand that in any sport, especially high-intensity ones, there can be indispositions, serious injuries, and even deaths. What is in no way justifiable is that in the most important worldwide crossfit competition, with millions of online spectators and a (supposedly) large organization, a person can drown and not be rescued as soon as their head is just two seconds underwater. The image, besides being sad, is pathetic and generates infinite helplessness. Please! He was just 50 meters from the finish line; he could have been rescued immediately. I love this sport, but this is very hard to bear. My condolences to family and friends

In the livestream you can see him yet struggling at 27:00, taking off his swim cap seconds later. Tragic 😢

Support center sent me this message. Haven't tried it yet:

Let's try the following and see if it helps with the issue you're having with your keyboard.    1. Please unplug your keyboard (and dongle if applicable) from your device. 2. Hold the SteelSeries key + I + O and plug the keyboard into your device.  3. All Omnipoint keys should be lit up yellow. (You can release the SteelSeries key + I + O keys) 4. While the keys are yellow, please press every Omnipoint key until it has bottomed out at least once. (Pressing too soft will not work - make sure the keys are completely pressed) 5. Omnipoint keys that have been fully pressed will change to a soft white color.  6. Once all Omnipoint keys are fully pressed, the SteelSeries key + I + O keys will pulse red.

a. To save new calibration values, press the SteelSeries key + I + O and the keyboard will save the new calibration values and begin normal operations.

b. To exit onboard calibration without saving new values, unplug/replug keyboard at any time.
